DO I NEED A LIFE JACKET?
Yes. Per USCG laws, children under 13 must wear one at all times. For adults, we have vests on board for everyone while you're in the water surfing.
CAN I BRING ALCOHOL?
Absolutely. BYOB is welcome. We just ask that you keep the glass to a minimum and keep things safe on the water. No hard liquor shots, please.
WHAT IF I CAN'T SWIM?
No problem. You can still float with a vest or hang on the boat. However, you must be able to swim to participate in wake surfing.
WHO IS DRIVING THE BOAT?
Every charter includes a USCG-licensed captain. Captain Ben or one of our pros handles the wheel so you can focus on the surf.
ARE KIDS ALLOWED?
Yes! We are family friendly. We ensure life jackets are properly fitted and the wave is adjusted to a comfortable size for younger riders.
WHAT'S THE MAX CAPACITY?
Our boat is rated for up to 12 guests. This ensures everyone has a seat and there's plenty of room for all the gear and coolers.
What to Expect on Your Day
When should we arrive for our charter?
Please arrive at Walsh Boat Landing 15 minutes before your scheduled departure. This gives us time to load your gear, go over the safety briefing, and get you on the water exactly on time.
What should we bring with us?
Sunscreen (no spray, please!), towels, sunglasses, and any drinks or snacks you'd like. We provide a cooler with ice, wake surf boards, and life vests. BYOB is welcome for those of legal age.
Can we play our own music?
Absolutely. The boat is equipped with a premium Bluetooth sound system. You'll be able to connect your phone and take control of the playlist as soon as you step on board.
How do bathroom breaks work?
Since there isn't a restroom on the boat, we recommend using the facilities at the dock before we head out. If needed, the captain can pull into a nearby marina during the charter.
How many people can come on the boat?
Our Lake Austin charters can accommodate up to 12 guests. This is a strict Coast Guard limit to ensure everyone's safety and comfort on our 24-foot Moomba.

How do I pay for my charter?
We take all major credit cards through our secure booking system. A full payment is required to lock in your date and time slot.
Can I reschedule my booking?
Rescheduling is free if done at least 5 days before your trip. Inside that 5-day window, moving your slot depends on captain availability and may incur a small fee.
What if it rains?
The Captain makes the final weather call on the day of. If it's unsafe (lightning or heavy storms), we'll reschedule you or provide a full refund. We don't cancel for light sprinkles or standard heat.
What is the cancellation window?
Cancel up to 5 days before your charter for a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 5 days are non-refundable as we wouldn't be able to fill that slot on short notice.
